49th EDITION OF 100KM PASSATORE RACE CANCELLED
Considering the recent devastating floods in Emilia-Romagna (especially in Faenza and surrounding areas) and the wide damages that the population and the infrastructure suffered from, the 100km del Passatore Association together with the local authorities decided to cancel the 2023 edition race.
The consequences of the floods have also affected many of the volunteers involved in the organization of the race.
Besides, many landslides caused the interruption of a consistent part of the race route, especially between Marradi and Faenza.
The 49th edition will take place next year 2024.
The runners who were supposed to take part in this year race will receive a communication in which they’ll be asked to make a choice regarding the entry fees already paid, among the following options:
1) Let 100km del Passatore Association keep the entry fee to cover the expenses already paid for this year race.
2) Give the entry fee to the flood victims.
3) Transfer the entry fee to 2024 race edition
The choice should be made not further than June 15th.
