Friday May 25th beginning at 6.30pm there will be the traditional appointment with the Pasta Party with the opening of the food stand in Faenza’s Piazza della Libertà.

Like last year, the evening is managed by the Autobril group and is open to all: athletes, followers, collaborators and “simple” spectators. The evening will offer three types of menu. The “athlete” with pasta with tomato sauce at EURO6.00. The “athlete +” with traditional local filled pasta from EURO8.00 and the “Piada” with local bread and prosciutto at EURO5.00.

The “Athlete” menu has been studied for the requirements of the participants and includes pasta, both simple and filled according to the option chosen, bruschetta and simple cake to supply a “full tank” of carbohydrates in light of the competition, but it will also satisfy lovers of the traditional cuisine of the Romagna.

Beginning at 8.00pm there will be music and activities with the participation of Luca Piazza and the presentation of the race’s Top Runners. At 9.00pm the athletes will gave the symbolic start to the local “Faenza, step by step” activity which will follow a path that starts in Piazza della Libertà and will finish at the Monumental fountain.

We wish to remind the fans that the same evening at 8.30pm at the Local Council Art Gallery at the Voltone della Molinella there will be the presentation “Verso i propri limiti” by ex marathon Runner Orlando Pizzolato, multiple marathon winner, including the New York marathon, and also testimonial for the “Passatore” from 2002 to 2012.

On Thursday May 25th, again at 8.30pm at the same venue, author Paolo Cervigini will launch his book “Il sentiero del Passatore da Firenze a Faenza” with a presentation of photos.

The long evening of the 100 will begin in Saturday May 27th at 6.00pm with a history of the race by the official presenters Daniele Menarini and Danny Frisoni supported by images projected on the maxi screen and the direct radio coverage (FM frequencies 101.3 and 130.9) and direct television coverage by Di.Tv (on channels 17, 20 and 214) and live streaming from 8.00pm.
