SPECIAL EDITION OF THE ITALIAN 100 KM ROAD CHAMPIONSHIP

 

Asd 100 km del Passatore is pleased to announce the participation of Acquainbrick Srl as official water sponsor of the special edition of the Italian 100 km road championship to be held at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari racetrack in Imola on 22 May 2021.

Acquainbrick, a Modenese company that markets water in sustainable cardboard, sponsors the Asd 100 km del Passatore to ensure the correct hydration of all runners participating in the competition, clearing the cardboard as the ideal packaging for a precious commodity such as water, the necessary fuel. for every sporting performance. Acquainbrick’s mission is shared by the organizers of the foot race with the common commitment to produce benefits both for the environment and for the athletes’ performance.

The Imola circuit and the Asd 100 km, embracing the Acquainbrick project, choose to eliminate the disposable plastic of the classic “walking” bottles of water. Cardboard is a material with less impact on the environment and climate change. Composed of over 70% of raw material of vegetable origin, it contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. In FSC® paper supplied by Tetra Pak, the brick is totally recyclable. The cork is also organic, based on polymers derived from sugar cane, an even more sustainable alternative. An excellent expedient for all sports competitions that involve a large consumption of water and the consequent need to dispose of packaging and waste.

 

Acquainbrick will be present on the track with 20 thousand waters in 330ml cardboard for the 300 participants in the race, available at the refueling point set up along the track. The brick is equipped with a multilayer structure that acts as a barrier against external alterations, such as light and heat, protecting the liquid contained and keeping it fresher for longer, an intelligent solution for a long-lasting race. The water is free from microplastics, light and with 0% impurities. The format is designed for on-the-go consumption: easy to open, with a comfortable and ergonomic grip, with a cap that optimizes drinking in total safety and hygiene, the brick is functional to all the needs of runners.
